IELTS Mock Test Fee in Bangladesh 2026: Centre vs Online

An IELTS mock test at a centre in Bangladesh costs BDT 275 to 1,500 each. Online, a full mock with Writing and Speaking marked costs about BDT 43.

Illustration: “How much is the IELTS mock test fee? Centre vs online (2026)”; a test centre at BDT 275 to 1,500 a mock beside a laptop at about BDT 43.

The short answer: one IELTS mock test at a centre costs BDT 275 to BDT 1,500, depending on how many you buy at once. Online, a full mock with Writing and Speaking marked costs about BDT 43.

That second number sounds too low to be true, so here is the sum. It is one division, and you can check it on your phone.

IELTS mock test fee at a centre, package by package

In September 2026 we collected the on-campus price lists of two IELTS centres. I am not naming them. Prices change from one centre to the next, and what matters here is the arithmetic, not who charges what.

Centre A

PackagePricePer mock
1 mock testBDT 1,500BDT 1,500
2 mock testsBDT 2,500BDT 1,250
3 mock testsBDT 3,000BDT 1,000
5 mock testsBDT 4,000BDT 800

Centre B

PackagePricePer mock
3 mock testsBDT 2,100BDT 700
5 mock testsBDT 3,000BDT 600
10 mock testsBDT 4,500BDT 450
15 mock tests (Academic)BDT 5,000BDT 333
20 mock tests (Academic)BDT 5,500BDT 275

The "per mock" column is the price divided by the number of tests, nothing more. The more you pay for up front, the less each one costs. The cheapest mock on either list is BDT 275, and you only get that price by paying for twenty at once.

What a full IELTS mock test costs online

First, what "full" means. The real test has four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. A mock is only worth sitting if all four come back with a band.

On our site, Listening and Reading are marked the moment you submit, and you can sit as many as you like. Writing and Speaking are different, because someone has to judge them against the band descriptors. That is what the AI evaluations in each plan are for. One AI Writing evaluation and one AI Speaking evaluation mark one full mock: a band and feedback for every criterion, in a few minutes, and a transcript of what you said in Speaking.

So the number of full mocks in a plan is simply the number of evaluations in it.

PlanPriceFull mocks, markedPer mock
Starter (30 days)BDT 49910about BDT 50
Pro (90 days)BDT 1,49935about BDT 43
Premium (120 days)BDT 2,49970about BDT 36

The same division again: BDT 1,499 ÷ 35 = BDT 42.83.

Centre vs online: the same number of mocks

Take Pro's 35 mocks and buy the same number at a centre. To be fair to the centre, give it its lowest price, BDT 275, for every one of them.

35 × BDT 275 = BDT 9,625. Pro costs BDT 1,499. You keep BDT 8,126.

Here is the same sum for all three plans, at each centre's lowest price:

MocksCentre, BDT 275 eachCentre, BDT 800 eachOnline
10BDT 2,750BDT 8,000BDT 499 (Starter)
35BDT 9,625BDT 28,000BDT 1,499 (Pro)
70BDT 19,250BDT 56,000BDT 2,499 (Premium)

Even against the cheapest centre price, online costs 81% to 87% less. Against Centre A the gap is wider still. There, BDT 1,499 does not buy a single mock, because one costs BDT 1,500. Here it buys 35.

What a centre gives you that we do not

A lower price is not the whole story, and I am not going to pretend it is.

At a centre you sit in a room with other candidates and an invigilator, and your Speaking test is with a person across the table. That pressure is part of the real exam, and practising at home does not fully recreate it. With us, you answer the Speaking questions into your microphone.

What an online mock does match is the test itself. IELTS in Bangladesh is now only taken on a computer, so you are practising on the same kind of screen, against the same kind of timer, as often as you want.

If you have never sat an exam in a hall, there is a simple plan: do most of your mocks online, and book one at a centre in the last week or two before your test.

How to get all 35 mocks out of Pro

Whether you use everything you paid for comes down to a few small things.

  • Spend your evaluations on full Cambridge tests. On a Cambridge test, one Writing evaluation marks Task 1 and Task 2 together. The Advanced Writing papers are one task each, so there one evaluation marks one task. The site has 84 full Cambridge Academic tests and 44 full General Training tests.
  • Use them within 90 days. Pro's evaluations last as long as the plan, counted from the day you buy. Thirty-five mocks in 90 days is about three a week, which is a heavy pace but a realistic one if your test is close.
  • Sit Listening and Reading as often as you like. They never use an evaluation.
  • Treat Advanced as extra practice. It has more than 2,700 papers, but each one covers a single skill: most are one Writing task, and the rest are Listening, Reading and Speaking tests.

Or start without paying

You do not have to buy anything to find out whether this suits you. Every Cambridge test on the site is free, with our instructors marking your Writing and Speaking, and your first AI Writing and AI Speaking evaluation are free as well. Sit one full mock that way, look at the marking, and then decide.

If you already know you want the evaluations, the plans are here:

And if you are still working out the budget for the real thing, IELTS in Bangladesh costs BDT 31,100 before any extras. A mock test is the cheapest way to make sure you only pay that once.

If the budget is the reason you have not started, the preparation itself need not cost anything either: a 30-day plan you can run at home for free. And before you book either one, five checks that beat a gut feeling will tell you whether you are close enough for the test to be worth sitting.

A note on these numbers

The centre prices come from two on-campus price lists collected in September 2026. Our prices are as they stood on 19 September 2026. Per-mock figures are rounded to the nearest taka, and the percentages are rounded down. Centres change their prices and so do we, so if you are reading this later, check both before you compare.

Questions about this

How much does an IELTS mock test cost in Bangladesh?

At the two centres whose price lists we collected in September 2026, one on-campus mock test cost between BDT 275 and BDT 1,500. The more you buy at once, the less each one costs: BDT 1,500 for a single mock at one centre, and BDT 275 each only when you pay for twenty. Prices differ between centres, so ask for the full list before you pay.

What is the cheapest way to take IELTS mock tests?

Online. On our Pro plan, BDT 1,499 covers 35 full mock tests with Writing and Speaking marked by AI, which is about BDT 43 a mock. If you want to start without paying, every Cambridge test on the site is free with an instructor marking Writing and Speaking, and your first AI Writing and AI Speaking evaluation are free as well.

Is an online IELTS mock test as good as one at a centre?

For the test itself, yes. IELTS in Bangladesh is now taken on a computer, and an online mock uses the same kind of screen and timer. What a centre adds is the room: other candidates, an invigilator, and a Speaking test with a person across the table. If you have never sat an exam like that, book one centre mock in the last week or two before your test.

How many full mock tests do I get on the Pro plan?

35. Listening and Reading are marked the moment you submit and never use anything up. Writing and Speaking each use one AI evaluation, and Pro has 35 of each, so 35 mocks can be marked from start to finish. The evaluations have to be used within the plan's 90 days, which is about three mocks a week.

Are the 2,700 Advanced tests full mock tests?

No, and it is better to say so plainly. They are single-skill practice papers: most are one Writing task each, and the rest are Listening, Reading and Speaking tests. The full four-module mocks are the Cambridge tests, 84 Academic and 44 General Training on the site as of September 2026.
